OWNER X ARTIST
In high school I started working in the cosmetic retail industry and I continued to do so while studying in college and university. Regardless of my extensive education (8 years to be exact), I knew I wanted to be a full-time makeup artist as I could not shy away from my passion for helping others feel beautiful (internally and externally). In early 2017, I decided to leave the cosmetic retail industry and venture off on my own as a freelance makeup artist leading me to establish Prerna & Co.

1. Always Learn: Regardless of years of extensive industry knowledge and experience, I make it a point to consistently learn and grow as an artist. I am always taking one-on-one classes with other well-known artists and/or spend hours online researching.
2. Always Provide Quality: My aesthetic for makeup is to concentrate on what looks good on a person based on their: features, unique needs and preferences rather than just being trendy. I am very detail oriented and spend ample time on each client.
I go above and beyond to curate a comfortable environment for my brides and clients by balancing fun and professionalism. My clients are not just “clients”, I love to bond with each individual to form a lasting connection. I make a genuine effort to ensure each and every aspect of the client’s experience is absolutely a positive one.
Makeup artistry is much more than just a career to me. To have someone trust me to be a part of their special day is the ultimate accomplishment. It adds purpose and meaning to my life.
